PlayChess is one of the most popular chess servers in the world. They say that more than 5,000 players are online every night. Pretty impressive! Learn how to unblock PlayChess if you got banned.
How can you get banned on PlayChess?
It seems that it is possible to get banned if you create more than 9 accounts from the same IP address.
What can you do if you get banned for this reason or other reasons?
Solution 1 (Not really a solution)
Find another chess server! 🙂
Solution 2 (Again … not really a solution)
Buy a 1-year membership of 29 euro to get unbanned.
Solution 3 (Good solution)
If you have a dynamic IP address from your ISP you may simply reset your router. Most likely you will get a new IP address.
If you have a static IP you may call your ISP and ask them to change your IP address. Unfortunately, it is possible that they ask you money. Anyway, if you get your IP changed to make sure that you don’t break their rules again.
Solution 4 (Hide/change your IP solution)
There are plenty of hiding IP tools on the market. And the good news is that you don’t need great speed in order to unblock PlayChess.
You can use FreeCap to change your IP. You have to be aware that classical solutions (web proxies, most of hiding IP software) will not work because PlayChess is not a browser game. It requires the installation of a client software that connects directly to a server.
If you don’t know how to use FreeCap you can read How to use FreeCap to hide your IP address, a previous post. I hope this helps!
Later edit: PlayChess can be also played online. Thus, you may also use web proxies. Also, VPN services like HideMyAss, ibVPN, NordVPN, PureVPN or PrivateInternetAccess can be used to unblock PlayChess.
